What is the Bonsai Difference?

Master Craftsmen

We have been installing and finishing floors for over 25 years. Members of our team are frequently researching, attending, and studying new techniques, options, and practices to ensure we provide a quality experience that excels industry standards and customer expectations.

We invest in every aspect that we can—from our tools and vehicles to our master craftsmen and office administration. Having the highest grade equipment and team members allows us to ensure a timely and professional installation process for you. All team members are highly and frequently trained to bring them not only to craftsmen standards but master craftsmen excellence.

Our goal is to set you up for success without causing a financial burden both in the present and in the future. We have low overhead, which means within our business model, there are more opportunities of savings for you. Before installation even begins, our installation team checks moisture levels and status of the subfloor. Unlike our competitors, we prepare the subfloor in a way that works with new flooring requirements, saving homeowners from headaches down the road from damage.

Our company is licensed and insured for your peace of mind. At the completion of our installation, we will also complete a final walkthrough with you to ensure we have exceeded your expectations, as well as provide education on future maintenance to make the floors feel as if they are freshly installed long past the date of completion.

Showroom and Retail

Unlike other businesses in the flooring industry, we are both retailers and installers. Other businesses in the industry typically do either sales or the installation—not both—meaning that if you go through a retailer for your flooring, there is as chance they hire someone else to do the installation.

While their business model hires a professional for the installation, we have the expertise to skip that portion entirely and install soon after you make your flooring choice. Furthermore, that means we aim for perfection throughout the entire process—from helping you select the right floor to the installation itself. We will only sell and install products we know are quality and will last through the tests of time. Every single item in our showroom and inventory is a product we know is reliable. No need to worry if the floors you have selected are more labor intensive to install and will end up costing significantly more than you anticipated. No need to worry if the installation itself will have hidden expenses coming from a secondary business. No need to worry if the project will be completed in a rush with errors happening along the way—all because we can focus on you from the start and provide services in-house with team members we train and trust, from sales to installation.

Furthermore, by having retail and installation under one company, if there are any errors or imperfections in your new install, finding the initial installers to correct the mistake is a breeze. Warranty information and requests all happen through the same company, whether the imperfection is a manufacturer or installation error. That means you can save time working out warranty information and money on repairs, for all of the information and help you need is in under one roof.

We know purchasing material for a new floor and the labor can become costly, which can make it difficult to rationalize looking into getting new floors in the first place. With that in mind, we have done everything we can to make the experience less of a burden financially, so that you can achieve the space of your dreams.

As mentioned above, we have a low overhead, which means more savings for you right at the beginning of the process. Furthermore, because we are retailers and installers, we only sell products we are confident will not fail or cause other problems for you during the installation process and for years after. Our installation process covers any and all points where a new installation could fail, thus making it cheaper for you in the long run.

On top of that, we offering various financing plans through our partner, Mountain America Credit Union (MACU). By partnering with a local credit union, we are able to offer loans that are more tailored to your needs and your situation—not using a standardized, one-size-fits-all program from large scale loan companies. Furthermore, by partnering with Mountain America Credit Union, there are multiple locations for you to visit or local phone numbers you can call for any questions you may have regarding your loan. No need to have a membership to apply.
